Bio

Formed in 2021, Green River Revue is a Bluegrass and roots music band featuring the raw talent and energy of five world-class musicians: banjo player Kelsey Crews, fiddle player David Mansfield III, guitarist James Seliga, mandolinist David Freeman, and Bassist Landy Ewing. All of them bring years of experience and dedicated skill to the collective, forging their own unique path in the industry.

Each member has a wealth of accolades and achievements in their respective fields, including recording, performance, production, and film credits, just to name a few. Landy Ewing’s background in various genres and production provides a solid foundation for the band's diverse musical explorations and commercial edge. Some achievements by Kelsey Crews include a 2020 SPBGMA Banjo Player Of The Year nomination and several Grand Ole Opry appearances with Bluegrass legend Bobby Osborne.

Drawing on a heavy influence of the inimitable styles of David Freeman, James Seliga, and Landy Ewing, David Mansfield III’s fiddling influence by the likes of Vassar Clements and Aubrie Haney, and Kelsey’s native Kentucky Newgrass roots, The band provides a soulful blend of intricate melodies and tight harmony vocals that make for an exceptional display of entertainment for all ages and lovers of all types of music.
